Nicole Collins

Salem, Massachusetts

  • I offer one-on-one grief coaching for people navigating loss in its many forms. My work provides a steady, compassionate space to slow down, speak honestly about what has changed, and begin to find footing after loss. Sessions are client-led, conversational, and paced gently, without pressure to “move on” or reach predetermined outcomes.
  • Coaching is offered virtually and may be short-term or ongoing, depending on individual needs, life circumstances, and what feels most supportive for the client.
  • I support clients through both recognized and often-unacknowledged forms of grief, including partner, spousal, and close-relationship loss; pet loss; job loss and identity-related grief; and periods of cumulative or ambiguous loss.
  • In addition to individual coaching, I facilitate group grief coaching sessions, creating structured yet supportive spaces for shared reflection, connection, and normalization of the grief experience.
  • I am also available for speaking engagements and facilitated conversations for organizations, teams, and communities seeking to build grief literacy, emotional resilience, and more compassionate responses to loss in personal and professional contexts.

I’m Nicole Collins, a certified grief coach who supports people navigating loss that doesn’t always get acknowledged — the kind of grief that doesn’t follow neat timelines or social scripts. My own experience with profound loss — including the death of my partner, my dog, and my mother, all while continuing to lead and function professionally — taught me that grief isn’t something to fix or bypass, but something that needs space, steadiness, and care.

My work is grounded in nervous-system awareness, deep listening, and gentle meaning-making, and I bring a calm, honest, and compassionate presence to coaching. I am certified by the Institute of Professional Grief Coaching (IOPGC), a certified sound healer through Solshine Wellness, and hold a certification in trauma-informed leadership from the University of North Florida.

In my practice, I offer virtual one-on-one grief coaching tailored to each person’s unique experience, with specialized support for partner and close-relationship loss, pet loss, and job or identity-related grief.

I also facilitate group grief coaching sessions and am available for speaking engagements and facilitated conversations for organizations, teams, and communities seeking to build grief literacy, emotional resilience, and more compassionate responses to loss.

I’m here to walk alongside clients — not to rush or reframe their grief, but to help them feel genuinely seen and supported in what they’re carrying.
