Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Is this program only for coaches?

Answer: Although coaches benefit by adding this expertise to their current service offerings and can use the ICF Continuing Coach Education (CCE) units towards their ICF credential renewal requirements, the program is open to educators, health care professionals, death care professionals, clergy and lay persons, and anyone who wants to answer the compassionate call and help those grieving the loss of loved ones. Maybe you might have some personal unresolved grief that hasn’t been addressed. How would it feel to finally work through these blocks, and then be fully tuned in and present to help others? Becoming a From Grief to Gratitude Certified Coach offers emotional and financial rewards, and your services will never go unappreciated.

Question: Do you offer payment plans for the program cost?

Answer: Yes, we do offer payment options as we want to make sure that you are able to comfortably make this investment in your future.  The one-time, non-refundable program cost is $2,497.  We also offer a $200 discount to ICF-credentialed (ACC, PCC, MCC) coaches and military personnel (certification will be verified).  If your organization is interested in offering this program to a group, please contact us to receive more information.

Question: Can I complete the program online or do I have to physically attend classes?

Answer: This is a distance learning program and can be completed wherever you have access to the internet as live weekly class sessions are conducted online via Zoom. Your Intern-While-You-Learn sessions with your pro-bono client can be conducted via telephone, online, or in person.

Question: What is the class schedule and time commitment?

Answer: You should be able to commit at least three hours weekly for the 8-week period to successfully complete the program. The online class meets weekly for two hours on Tuesdays from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. EST. In addition to your class, you are required to work with a pro-bono client for a total of five (5) hours.

Question: Will my class materials be provided in hard copy or digital?

Answer: All class materials are in digital format and are delivered via your online coaching portal and/or via email.

Question: Will I receive a certificate upon completion of the program?

Answer: Yes. Upon satisfactory completion of the program, you will receive a certificate documenting completion of the program and International Coaching Federation (ICF) Continuing Coach Education (CCE) hours in the areas of Core Competencies and Resource Development.
