Mother’s Day can be challenging when your mother is no longer here in the physical. You reminisce times shared, experiences gained, occasions celebrated, or even the maybe not-so-agreeable moments. The triggers of sadness, loneliness, and despair seem to take control and steal your joy. While many are enjoying this special day, you might feel that others have even forgotten about your loss. Whether this year, or many years ago, your heart still aches for that special, unconditional love that only a mother can give. You are not alone. We are here for you and invite you to join with others to light a candle to honor, celebrate, and remember the love of mothers.
We also acknowledge that Mother's Day might be traumatic for those wounded or abandoned by their mother, as well as those who have lost a child.
